❥Clothing: The style I was mainly going for were alternative, bohemian, what I call "street style". Like i stated before in "EXTENSION #7: LIVING: INFLUENCES (PT. 1)", I believe my personal style is very diverse, hopefully interesting.
❥Interior: I really enjoy the "Bohemian" style of furniture because it portrays a life of comfort and creativity.
❥Progress: Expressing myself through style is very important to me. When purchasing clothes I sometimes ask myself what this would say about the type of person I am, then I stop. How does a shirt speak? It's true that one should never judge a book buy it's cover! Clothing provide people with a sense of who you are, what are you into, how much money you make, etc. but that's not right. I have met so many people that do not have the best fashion sense, but have to best sense of humor or super smart. Why do we base our first impressions on what someone wears? Why not the looks of their faces or their mannerisms? I believe that I try to keep a very current style to not only impress myself, but to maintain relevancy in the world. To feed the worlds ego. I don't like that.
❥Reflection: Even though I feel i vented in my "progress", i'll just state that irregardless of the whole "ego" conspiracy, I love fashion and i love interior design. I love the feeling of wearing a nice outfit and having my hair wavy and there is nothing wrong with that. What is so wrong with thinking and knowing that you'r beautiful? Why am I labeled narcissistic and conceded for not being insecure? I love the way i am acne and body fat and all. Even with what others may label "imperfections" I love myself to death. I don't know, there's something wrong there. Why is it so weird and negative to hear someone say they think they're perfect, but socially acceptable for someone to be insecure and criticize themselves? Either way I love myself and the person i'm becoming.
